Abstract submission should be via email as an attached word processing file. Send abstract to:
Acceptable word processing formats, listed in order of preference, are PC or MAC versions of:
1. Microsoft Word
2. WordPerfect
For Mac users and those whose email programs have difficulty in handling attachments, place the abstract in the body of the email message. If there is anyone who does not have access to email, abstracts may be submitted on a CD as a file in one of the above formats and mailed to:

A sample abstract is given below. Please follow the stylistic guidelines as closely as possible. Use Times New Roman font, 12 pt., single space with 1" left and right margins. Use bold for the title, and italics for the addresses. Underline the author that will make the presentation. Make sure the abstract fits in a vertical space of no more than one 8.5" x 11" page. This limit applies to the total text submitted (including title, addresses and abstract). Italicize genus and species names.
After the body of the text indicate:
(1) A preferred and alternate session topic (Session Topics: (a) Biology, Systematics and Biogeography, (b) Ecology and Genetics, (c) Impacts, (d) Risk Assessment and Management) in which you would like your presentation to be included.
(2) A preference for presentation format: (a) Oral, (b) Poster, (c) Talk and Poster, (d) No preference
(3) Requests for special projection needs (e.g. video tape, computer projection)
Oral Presentations:
If you wish to give an oral presentation using the computer projection, presentations must be saved onto a CD-ROM, in a version of Microsoft Power Point. Any additional projection needs (video, etc.) will require prior arrangements with .
Poster Presentations:
MAXIMUM poster size is 3' x 5'. Materials for hanging posters will be provided.
